I've dabbled in each types, and I have to say, stainless steel razors do require a bit more consideration when it is about to honing and sharpening. But when you get the hang of it, they can give a consistently easy shave without the risk of rusting. It's definitely a learning curve though!

I've been using stainless steel razors exclusively for years, and I can attest to their longevity if appropriately cared for. Regular honing and stropping are key to trying to keep the edge sharp, but when you build a routine, it becomes second essence. plus, the eased knowing your razor won't rust is definitely worth it!
