stainless Steel Bbq Skewers Casting
#1
*"hey everyone! I've been looking into stainless steel Bbq skewers lately. Do you think casting is the best method for making them? Or are there other manufacturing techniques that may possibly be better? "*

* great question! I've listened to that casting can result in skewers with pretty good durability, however it may affect the general weight. Anyone have experience with cast stainless steel skewers? *

* i've used both cast and forged skewers. Cast ones tend to be thicker and heavier, but they're tremendous durable. Forged skewers are lighter, but I worry on their intensity. It's a trade-off! *

* i prefer cast skewers simply because they're less likely to bend or warp over time. plus, they're easier to clean. but yeah, the weight can be an issue. Probably there's a way to balance intensity and weight? *

* what about cost? Are cast skewers significantly more costly than more methods? I'm on a expense, but I want quality skewers! *

* i've found any affordable cast stainless steel skewers on-line. They're not as heavy as you'd expect, and they hold up properly. maybe it's value the investment? * feel free to continue the conversation or add your very own thoughts! ??¹² source: Discussion Vermont Castings.
