Is Using E-cloth effective for cleaning Stainless Steel Castings?

Hey absolutely everyone, I've been looking into eco-friendly ways to wash stainless steel castings, and I stumbled on some thing called e-cloth. Has any individual here tried using e-cloth for this purpose? I'm curious to know if it's powerful.
