Stainless steel sinks are really good for longevity and resistance to corrosion, however have you considered other materials like plastic or ceramic? They may well be more budget-friendly possibilities.

From what I've researched, stainless steel casting involves pouring molten stainless steel into a mold to produce the sink shape. It's supposed to result in a seamless, durable item that's less prone to leaks and cracks in contrast to sinks made from multiple pieces welded each other.

well, one downside is that they can be noisy when you're using them. but you can mitigate that by picking a sink with soundproofing or installing it with proper insulation.
