I've employed stainless steel casting plugs for my ear stretching journey. 1 big advantage is durability. They're exactly robust and holdĀ up properly over time. Plus, they're non-porous, which makes them easier to clean and less prone to bacteria buildup in comparison to some other materials like acrylic.

That sounds great,. But what on the weight? I've read that stainless steel plugs can be quite heavy, mainly for larger sizes. Does anyone find this to be an issue?

Mass can definitely be a concern,. I've used stainless steel plugs, and while they're enduring, the mass can be uncomfortable, especially if you're wearing them for prolonged periods. It's something to consider, mainly if you have smaller sized earlobes.

Interesting points,. So, would you advise stainless steel casting plugs for beginners, or is it better to start off with lighter materials like silicone or glass until your ears are more accustomed to the stretching process?

That's a good question,. I think it truly depends on personal preference and patience for mass. Any people may well not attention the heaviness, specifically if they're only putting on them for short periods throughout the stretching process . But for others, starting with lighter materials may well be more relaxed till they reach their desired size.
