I've used stainless steel planters in my garden for a few years now, and I need to admit, they've been wonderful. Not only do they incorporate a contemporary touch to the outside area, but they're incredibly tough. I've had mine exposed to all sorts of weather conditions, and they still look nearest new.

I've had a different experience with stainless steel planters. While they do look great initially, I found that they began to show signs of erode right after a couple of years. maybe it depends on the quality of the stainless steel or the particular atmosphere they're placed in?
