Hello, I would definitely recommend stainless steel. It's long-lasting and easy to clean.

Couldn't agree more. Additionally, stainless steel doesn't react with food, which ensures that the food remains unaltered in taste.

I've got a stainless steel food mill and I can vouch for its durability. It's been years and it still works like a charm.

That's true,. But it's also relatively heavier than plastic ones. Though, the weight is a small price to pay for the sturdiness and longevity it offers.

Thank you, everyone, for your responses. Guess it's pretty clear that stainless steel is a strong contender in terms of durability and maintenance.
