@ you're welcome! Another significant variation is in their manufacturing processes. Steel is normally made via the procedure of smelting steely ore in a blast furnace and then refining it to the desired composition, whereas cast iron is manufactured by melting iron with a high carbon content in a furnace and pouring it into molds.
