Challenges and solutions in Investment Casting

Another challenge i've faced is mold cracking throughout the shell building procedure, specially with broad or complex molds. Mold cracking can leadto shell delamination and defects in the ultimate casting. To prevent mold cracking, i've targeted on optimizing shell building parameters like slurry composition, drying conditions, and shell thickness, as well as ensuring proper help and reinforcement of the mold during handling and firing.
