The Professionals and cons of Utilizing 8 Stainless Steel Stove Pipe in Foundries

I've used stainless steel stove pipes in my foundry meantime now. A major advantage I've found is its resistance to corrosion and erode. but does anyone know if it affects the melting method or the quality of the metal?
