Hey there! I've dealt with comparable issues before. Are you looking for something specific for removing oils and residues from the casting method, or only a general objective degreaser?

Thanx for chiming in! I'm mainly dealing with removing oils and residues from the casting procedure. I want something that's effective but won't damage the stainless steel.

I've employed some different degreasers on stainless steel castings, and I've found that any can leave behind residue or even cause discoloration. It's definitely significant to find one that's safe for stainless steel.

I've tried a couple, however haven't found 1 that I'm completely happy with but. I've heard that citrus-based degreasers can beeffective and less harsh on the metal. Has anyone experienced success with those?

I've used citrus-based degreasers on stainless steel before, and they've worked well personally. They tend to be more environmentally friendly too, which is a plus.

That sounds like an excellent option. I've also heard of people employing vinegar or baking soda solutions as homemade degreasers. Has anyone here tried those methods?

I haven't tried vinegar or baking soda myself, but I'm open to trying more natural solutions if they're effective. It's invariably wonderful to have possibilities, especially if they're more budget-friendly.
