Hey everyone! I've been thinking about upgrading my baking equipment, and I came throughout the Norpro Stainless Steel Pie Pan. Has anybody here used it before? I'm curious to know if it's worth the investment.
I haven't attempted the Norpro specifically, but I've used stainless steel pie pans in general. They're quite enduring and conduct temperature well, which is really good for achieving that perfect golden crust.
I actually own the Norpro Stainless Steel Pie Pan, and I really like it! The quality is top-notch, and it bakes pies evenly every time. Plus, it's super straightforward to clean. Absolutely worth the investment in my opinion.
I've been eyeing that pie pan too! Does it have any non-stick coating, or is it purely stainless steel?
It's purely stainless steel, which I actually prefer. I find that non-stick coatings can wear off over time, but with stainless steel, I don't need be concerned about that.
That's an excellent position,. How is the crust release with the stainless steel? Do you get any issues with pies sticking to the pan?
Surprisingly, I haven't had any troubles with sticking. I usually grease the pan lightly before baking, and the pies come about out easily invariably.
I'm sold! I think I'm likely to purchase one for myself. Many thanks for the recommendation!
Same here! I've been convinced. Many thanks for sharing your practice, everyone.
No problem, glad we could help each more out! Happy baking, everyone!
