Hey everyone! I've been trying to do some research recently on the best types of cookware. I'm stuck between choosing copper or stainless steel. Are there pros and cons to each?
That's a good question. I personally prefer stainless steel. It's incredibly durable, great for all sorts of heat sources and doesn't react with food.
I understand the draw to stainless steel, but I'm a huge fan of copper cookware. It heats up quickly, evenly, and it cools down just as fast when taken off the heat.
Both have their advantages. But let's not forget the aesthetic aspect. Copper pans give a classic, professional kitchen look, whereas stainless steel provides a modern sleek impression.
Copper, however, does require more maintenance to keep it from tarnishing and prevent reaction with certain foods. Stainless steel is generally more hard-wearing and easier to care for.
True, but it's worth noting that copper disperses heat better than stainless steel which could influence the cooking process . I guess it really depends on what you're cooking!
